Every journey starts with the very first step, for Cynthia and I, it started in the summer of 2019 but I first saw her in Connecticut in 2022 We remained friends and would check in on each other a few times. Although we didn’t see or speak to each other often, I knew to trust God's timing. In life, we find that what we want now is not necessarily what God wants for us at the moment. But, on a faithful day in January 2024-when the world was full of uncertainties- one thing was certain, our path was set to cross again and our long-planted seed of love was ready to sprout. With hesitation, Cynthia agreed to go on a date with me. (Best decision ever! -Cynthia) As we reconnected, it was like we instantly became best friends. We would talk for hours about anything and everything. Through our 1/2-year journey together, we have explored, learned, and experienced sadness and happiness. Though there were many obstacles, they shaped us, nourished us, and allowed our love to bloom. Now we are more than ready to take the next big step in our journey. We love each other immensely and can’t wait to be husband and wife.
