Parking Costs & Right on Red
If driving while in Montreal, keep in mind that turning right on red is not permitted while on the Island of Montreal! In addition, Montreal has metered street parking. Meters located Downtown or in the Old Port cost $3.00 per hour Monday to Saturday and are free on Sundays. Be sure to use the PMobile app for remote parking payment wherever you are in the city! You can also find several parking lots all over the city, including the suggested hotels, and costs typically range from $20-$40 per night. For adventurous individuals, try out Montreal's bike rental service Bixi, which has stations located all around the city. You can rent a bike hourly, daily or longer term, and drop off anywhere in the city. A great way to get around without dealing with the parking!
