A geologic wonderland, world-renowned Valley of Fire has 2000 year old petroglyphs carved into massive red sandstone formations in the Mohave Desert.

Hoover Dam: Hoover Dam is as tall as a 60-story building. It was the highest dam in the world when it was completed in 1935. Its base is as thick as two football fields are long.

Our favorite show: Blue Man Group now featured at the Luxor

Favorite restaurant: Buddy V's located in the Venetian Hotel (be sure to ask for their secret locals menu)

Our favorite wine cellar: Milo's in Boulder City! An intimate Tuscan-style wine bar in an inn, with a variety of wines & champagne, plus sandwiches & salads.

Fancy some shopping? Cindy's favorite is Fashion Show Mall. Conveniently located on the Las Vegas Strip the mall hosts weekend fashion shows on a retractable runway within the central atrium.

Seven Magic Mountains where the desert meets art! 7 painted boulder totems up to 35 ft. high by stand out in the barren Mojave Desert. Watch out for skeletons when venturing out there.

Most convenient hotel: Hilton Lake Las Vegas. In walking distance to the bridal brunch, reception and after party.

Favorite hike: White Owl Canyon is a short slot canyon near the edge of Lake Mead (easy to moderate)

Our "go to" restaurant is Johnny Mac's. Famous for New York Style Pizza and traditional Buffalo Wings. Only thing the menu is missing is Sponge Candy!

The National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, documents the history of nuclear testing at the Nevada Test Site in the desert north of Las Vegas.

Lake Las Vegas hike: Hummel Peak. A place we hike frequently to replace the wind tattered American flag. 1.5 hour roundtrip, 604ft. elevation gain.

Roc's brewery of choice. Lovelady is a fun place to hang with some friends, try some brews and play shuffleboard.

Heart Attack Grill: We dare you to try this diet! Be careful you don't get spanked!
