It all started in junior year(2020) of high school where Niko was a varsity wrestler and Cynthia was the manager. Well they had a tournament out of town on the 2nd of January. The tournament was JV but some of the Varsity wrestlers were able to go if they wanted extra matches. When they got to the place of the tournament there wasn’t enough girls for the bombers ladies to wrestle so they went home. Well Cody(Nikos dad) and Lucy(Nikos youngest sibling) showed up to watch Niko wrestle. Before Nikos first match Cody asked the mangers if one of them could watch Lucy and of course Cynthia said “yes”. When Niko and Cody came back from Nikos match, Cynthia and Lucy were putting stickers each other. Niko then sat next to Cynthia, and of course the girls decided to put stickers on Niko as well. Well that got Cynthia and Niko to talk each other for the rest of the time during the tournament.(well obviously while still doing their jobs that they were supposed to be doing). It then came to the end of the tournament and Niko asked his dad if he could ride on the bus with the rest of the team home. Cody said no and took Niko and Lucy home while Cynthia went on the bus with the rest of the team. While on the bus Cynthia was asking some of her friends if she should text Niko telling him that she likes him. Of course they all said yes. So Cynthia went onto Snapchat and texted Niko “hey I think you did really good today” “um thanks but I wasn’t that good” “lol yeah but you tried your best, also your sister is super cute” “lol thanks, yeah she is pretty cute” “hey we snap instead of the texting it is more easier for me” “ok” snap “hey I think you are cute and we should definitely talk more” 10 minutes later snap “I think are too and yeah I would to talk more”. (Later to come to find out why Niko took forever was because he was helping load up groceries and retaking the snap picture over and over because he didn’t like the way it looked.)(While on the other hand Cynthia was freaking out that she took it too far and was got ghosted) Then they spent hours and stayed up till midnight talking back and forth. The rest is history.
