How about forever? Together?

Meghan and Cynthia met just before the pandemic in what some may call a “challenging” work place. Through the challenges of work and working through COVID, the two became fast friends and huge supports in each other’s lives. Through COVID and breakups the two grew closer. The two were still trying to figure out what they were when Meghan decided to go to grad school. There was a choice to make: would Cynthia move half way across the country with no plan to be with Meghan, her kind of girlfriend or…? Lesbi-honest, they were going. So they U-hauled it to Colorado, states away from Illinois and everything they knew... and promptly slowed their roll. Three years of grad school (and a year of just needing to be humans) later, they finally asked each other the big question, “Shall we keep doing this together forever?" When the engagement was announced, gleefully exclaiming, "She said yes!" they were often met with confused looks and “Were you surprised?” (And no, no we weren't, not really.) Now these two are getting ready to take the next step their blissfully happy relationship with some vows and a celebration with people they love.
