Angela is Cynthia’s sister and closest person. In Cynthia’s opinion, Angela makes everything better, and this wedding is no exception. From planning the engagement party, to organizing Cynthia’s wedding dress shopping day, she made wedding planning seem less scary and doable. Everyone needs an Angela in their life. You will find Angela by Cynthia’s side as the Maid of Honor when Cynthia and Josh say “I do,” and then on the dance floor for the best time!
Erin Andres
Bridesmaid
Erin and Cynthia have been close friends since freshman year in high school! From blasting Taylor Swift in the car on the way to Sonic in high school, to spontaneously getting haircuts in Denver in undergrad, all the way to helping each other survive their respective graduate programs through lists of phone calls and visits, their friendship has survived the test of time and distance!
Jennifer Cook

Jen and Cynthia met in graduate school at the a University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. It was Cynthia’s last year and Jen’s first year in the program had enough wine nights in that one year to make the friendship stick for a lifetime! Cynthia and Jen actually met around the same time Josh and Cynthia met and, and Josh and Jen became fast friends. So, although Cynthia and Jen are close friends, Josh and Jen been friends as long as Cynthia and Jen. Because of this, it only made sense that Jen would be a bridesmaid AND officiant! Cynthia can attest that Jen is a phenomenal conference presenter, so combined with being a friend of they two of them, Cynthia and Josh are so excited to have Jen officiate their wedding!
Molly Hankla
Bridesmaid
Molly and Cynthia met in graduate school at the University of the Pacific, and moved to FL after graduation (Tampa for Cynthia, and Jacksonville for Molly). Both would probably say their close friendship didn’t start in grad school, instead they became besties three years after meeting when Cynthia somewhat spontaneously drove from Tampa to Jacksonville for a weekend visit. That weekend sealed the friendship deal! Fast forward two years later, and Cynthia got a job in Jacksonville and Cynthia Josh moved to be a couple of miles away from Molly and later her boyfriend, Kyle, and Cynthia and Molly got to live out their best BFF lives. March 2020 slowed them down, but they still got in lots of Taylor Swifting, Target shopping trips, and wine nights in for the two years Cynthia and Josh lived in JAX.
Rachel Livingston

Rachel is Cynthia’s sister-in-law (and friend!). During Covid, Tony (Cynthia’s brother), Josh, Rachel, and Cynthia played lots of virtual mini golf and board games. It got them through lockdown (and then some), and is still a semi-regular occasion, along with visits to Denver, Omaha, and the occasional cruise!
Jordan Gomillion
Best Man
Jordan is Josh's brother and best man. They grew up together and, being only a year apart, were joined at the hip in almost everything. Whether it was playing every sport you could think of with the neighborhood kids, schoolwork together, or as they grew into adulthood, traveling around the country and world to everywhere imaginable. They have always shared a similar spirit of adventure. Jordan is the one person who, no matter how long it's been since the last time you talked to him, you can pick up the conversation like it was yesterday. He has a big heart and was the one person in the family bold enough to carry on the family legacy of becoming a firefighter when Josh decided running into burning buildings wasn't in the cards for him. There's no one Josh could think of having as his best man other than his best friend, Jordan.
Cory Engle

Cory and Josh first met their freshman year at Land O Lakes high school. They had several classes together and bonded over being two of the few people at the school who weren't involved in tractor racing or the 4H Club. They quickly became great friends, lived together for several years, and even worked together for a while, which definitely resulted in some wild times. Cory and Josh have always shared spirited discussions on politics and culture; even when they often share differing viewpoints on things, they constantly enrich each other's lives by sharing different perspectives. From the very beginning, Cory was always a good influence on Josh, whether it was study habits in school or life lessons as they got older. He now works as a teacher in Boston, sharing the same lessons with other students.
Shawn Keene

Shawn and Josh met in high school when Shawn began dating one of Josh's friends at the time. They quickly hit it off with both of them having a common love of hardcore, punk, and metal music. While also sharing a wholesome love of reading anything either of them could get their hands on while continually trading recommendations back and forth. Even after Josh moved across the country, Shawn and Josh have maintained a strong friendship, whether playing Xbox through the pandemic or meeting up for the occasional show here and there. Shawn has always had a big heart and looked for ways to help other people at work, and otherwise, he has successfully carried that spirit through his adult life too.
Jameson Bonnville-Sexton

James and Josh first met at a church youth group in high school. They both had notoriously outrageous hair at the time, and while no one would say the hair drew them together, Josh would be the first to acknowledge he wished his long locks were more like James' at the time. They shared many common experiences through the years, whether it was living together in Wesley Chapel, going to countless shows, playing Halo until the middle of the night, or even working together for a while. James has always been among the most brilliant people in Josh's friend group. But intelligent in that rare way of using his knowledge to enrich other people's lives. If there were one person in Josh's wedding party that would cure cancer or discover how to navigate a black hole, it would definitely be James.
Tony Livingston
Groomsman
Tony is Cynthia's brother; Josh and Tony first met on a float trip several years back and quickly hit it off. Tony is someone who's constantly challenged Josh intellectually and is one person he can count on for a thought-provoking conversation no matter what. Their friendship grew over the pandemic through regular online gaming sessions that helped break up the monotony of being stuck in the house all day. Tony is the type of person you can have a conversation with about the merits of a complex social issue immediately followed by the quality of the latest blockbuster movie and feel equally into both of them. He has carried this energy throughout his whole life and with his family and friends.
