We went here on a recommendation from an airbnb hostess. The ramen and udon soups are delicious.
Mariscos El Mirador
This restaurant has beautiful views. We recommend the shrimp chicharrones and micheladas.
Mercado San Juan de Dios
San Juan de Dios is a multilevel market place that's more of an experience. There's great food and just about anything you need. We also recommend ordering 'carnes en sus jugos', a traditional plate, from one of the restaurants.
Instituto Cultural Cabanas
Tickets can be purchased at the door. The museum exhibits artwork from Jose Clemente Orozco.
Tlaquepaque and Tonala
Tlaquepaque and Tonala are charming cities that have a lot to offer. You can enjoy dinner and a mariachi show in Tlaquepaque. Take a walk after dinner and enjoy the outdoor market. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes when heading to Tonala. There are endless street vendors in every direction with artisanal merchandise.
