We first crossed paths in middle school, where we quickly became best friends. Little did we know, our friendship would blossom into something far greater. By the end of our 8th grade year, we realized we wanted more than just a friendship — we officially started dating March 20, 2015. Our bond grew stronger as we spent time together, and we’ll never forget our simple yet meaningful dates to the local ice cream shop. He’d always order a chocolate milkshake, while I’d order my strawberry one. Those moments were full of laughter and connection, those moments made us realize that what we had was something special. Years later, he took me on a beautiful date to the Signature Room on the 95th floor in downtown. Little did I know that the best part of the night was yet to come. He surprised me with a proposal at Buckingham Fountain, a spot we had visited many times when we were younger. With the city skyline as our backdrop, he got down on one knee, and in that moment, we knew our story was just beginning. On September 24, 2022, we made our commitment official through a courthouse ceremony. But we knew we wanted to take our marriage a step further by deepening our faith and presenting our love to God. Every day with each other is full of laughter and joy. The best part of life is being able to share it with each other. We can’t wait to build on these special moments for the rest of our lives and live our happily ever after.
