Our story...

Worth the wait...

I wish I had some great 'meet-cute' story to tell you about how we met, but it seems the most common way people meet is through online dating, we are no exception. I was ready to delete my profile because I was so over it all. I was over the repetitive conversations and answering questions like "What is your favorite color" or "What sign are you", like seriously?? Instead of deleting my profile, I just took a step back for a couple weeks. I was not starting any new conversations, but I still would browse the list of potential matches who had already "liked" my profile. Every time I did so, Ed's profile was the top match. Every. Single. Time. I couldn't open the app, without seeing his face each time. I finally decided to message him, and we didn't take a breath since. Our conversations were so intense and amazing that first day, that Ed invited me to a wedding with his family before even meeting me in person! He says he just "knew". He was right. We spent almost 3 weeks talking non-stop before we were able to meet in-person, and that first date changed everything. We talk about this often, how from the first few minutes of meeting, we were like magnets. It did not take us long to figure out not only how much we had in common, but how many invisible strings, coincidences and similarities existed between us and our lives. It was impossible to not get pulled in, and we haven't looked back since. We wholeheartedly gave in to all of our fears and insecurities to take a chance that this was the real thing. It is incredible to think that we were just fine without having this kind of passion and connection in our lives prior to meeting, because now there is no way either of us could imagine living without it...or each other. Neither of us have had a smooth journey finding each other. We both have endured a lot to get to here, and we believe those experiences are what we needed to become the people we needed to be for one another, now and forever. We would go through all of it again, just to find each other at the finish line. This love was Worth the Wait...
