We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Depending on who you ask, Dustin will tell you we met as "tiny tots" when we were ten, and although it's true I didn't meet the real him until study hall, in 2017. I remember taking his refusal to speak as a challenge and the excitement I felt when he said more than a yes or no. By the time it was summer, I considered him a friend. We saw each other once at a birthday party that summer, and that fall (Sept. 22nd, 2018 to be exact) we began texting regularly. Dustin bought a ticket to the homecoming dance, one I was begging him to attend. I remember the excitement I felt that day thinking maybe just maybe I'd spend the night dancing with him, that was until I arrived and he avoided me. Now, I wasn't just waiting for him to walk up to me, I literally called for his attention and he turned away after a glance. I didn't let it ruin the night, I still went to dance. Faith Garcia (matchmaker 1/2) let me know he finally entered the dance floor, of course, it was a Kendrick Lamar song. The timing was perfect, as soon as his song ended, a slow song started to play. As I started to leave the floor Faith called for my attention. While I was turning, I felt myself being pushed by the woman herself and simultaneously Blake (matchmaker 2/2) was pushing Dustin into me. There we were, pushed together, dreams coming true. I looked up at him and said "If you want to?" and so we did. He avoided eye contact the whole time but he was dancing with me and I couldn't have been happier. After that the rest is history! we are so excited to spend our special date with everyone and begin a new chapter of our story!
