Welcome to our wedding!

After years of braving the wilds of online dating, we connected in September of 2018. Cynthia sent the first message with an ice-breaker about horror movies and Colin suggested our first date at The Conservatory in downtown Houston. We had wine, poke, and, after an undeniable spark, a radically honest conversation about our struggles. Well, radical honesty was clearly the way to go because we had many dates soon after and made things official the next month in October! Our relationship hasn't been the most typical, but we've carried that spirit of emotional honesty through the years. Did we just have to look up when we first met? Absolutely--but we did it together which is, we think, the point. Through hectic work schedules, holidays, arguments, and a pandemic--good times and bad--we've been determined to be honest and tackle life as a team. And you know what? We think we've done pretty good so far!
