FOREVER & ALWAYS

We're actually high school sweethearts and met at Northeast High School. Cyndi was a freshman and Carly was a Junior. Cyndi says: “The first time I saw Carly walking with her friends during lunch time. I was sitting by the gazebo and Carlys' hair was flowing in the wind and the sun shined on her face; she was glowing. I remember saying “who is that?” And the girl next me said “oh that’s Carly, the lesbian” and I knew in that moment I wanted nothing more but to know who Carly was. “ Carly says “I remember seeing Cyndi every morning laughing with her friend outside of class. Any time I glanced over I'd catch a look at Cyndis' smile as we made eye contact. In those moments the world would stand still and my heart would instantly feel a familiar comfort. I'd think to myself 'Just look at her, smile and act cute!' '' We ended up becoming really close friends, practically glued to each other sides. Between all the sleepovers, last night calls and endless laughs neither one of us wanted to be apart from the other. As our friendship grew so did our love for each other. Hugs became ''I'd wish she'd kiss me'' and playful gestures turned into ''When is she going to ask me out?''

It’s February 24 at 10:50pm down the street from Carly’s childhood home in Oakland Park Florida. The girls met up for one of their usual hang outs, except this night was different. Tonight Carly wanted to ask Cyndi to be her girlfriend, she was so nervous but she knew she wanted to ask before Cyndi went on a family trip to SC. As they sat at the top of the slide Carly gets all anxious but tries to stay as cool as a cucumber she said ''So, would you wanna be my girlfriend?" and of course she said yes!

This is our favorite story so far! Here we go! During 2020 Carly and Cyndi planned on going to Orlando and coincidentally both planned a proposal on the same trip. (NEITHER ONE KNEW ) Due to covid-19 shut downs in march 2020 and the trip was cancelled a week before going and postponed until February 2021. So let’s fast forward because that was a lot to keep a secret for the last year! During the lock down, trying to keep the engagement top secret, the brides to be were hiding rings in work lockers; Carly even had her boss, Jenna, hide the ring in her safe at home. That way neither one finds out about the other. It’s February 22, 2021, Carly and Cyndi get to Universal Studios bright and early! Carly made plans to ask Cyndi around 11am; she had a whole day planned out with hints and gifts, and Cyndi wanted to ask Carly around 2pm; after going their usual ways through the park. They had just gotten to the park and Cyndi gets on the hulk roller coaster with the ring in her pocket as Carly's in the food court waiting and taking pictures of Cyndi's ring. Cyndi kept saying she didn't want to go to Hogwarts yet, which worried Carly because her plan to ask Cyndi was only 100 feet away and now she's stuck thinking '' Why would Cyndi miss a chance to go to Hogwarts?" Carly didn't know that Cyndi was getting sick from about to ask THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION and had to get herself together, soon after it was go time! The moment we all been waiting for...... Carly and Cyndi get to Hogwarts Castle. Carly has a video being made as they 'pretend' to take pictures. Carly got down on one knee and suddenly all the words she had rehearsed left her mind and said "Gorgeous I love you with all my heart and if you solemnly swear if after all this time to always love me, will you marry me?" In that moment Cyndi couldn't pull her ring out fast enough, she was completely stunned and filled with joyous butterflies. As Cyndi pulled her ring out while jumping and screaming yes, Carlys heart damn near jumped out of her chest! Both of them start hugging and kissing as they enjoy one of the best days of their lives. At the end of the day we both thought each other knew or maybe someone told the other, but and little did we know, we didn't know but all of our friends and family knew. We even blew up on Tik-tok with our engagement video!
