Emma is a force to be reckoned with! At 11 years old, she’s already a seasoned performer on the stage and a powerhouse behind a drum kit. She brings a fearless energy to everything she does—including her role as our lead flower girl. Because she’s so brave and capable, Cindy and Carlos knew she was the only one for the job of guiding Amayah down the aisle. We are so lucky to have her creative spirit as part of our wedding party!

Every wedding needs a little bit of magic, and Amayah is exactly that. At just two years old, Cindy and Carlos’s niece is a true ray of sunshine who lights up every room she enters. When she isn’t busy keeping up with her favorite friends Bluey, Dora, and the Sesame Street gang, she is making her family laugh with her bright personality. She may be small, but her heart is huge. Keep an eye out for this funny, fearless girl as she leads the way down the aisle!

At 11 years old, Cindy might not have been thrilled when her mother broke the news of a little sister on the way. However, anyone who knows Cindy knows how much her little sister means to her. From the day she was born, Lizzie and Cindy have been attached at the hip. Despite the twelve-year age gap, they have grown into the closest of confidantes. Cindy couldn't imagine standing at the altar without her "baby" sister (now her Maid of Honor) right by her side.

Two girls enter the Lawrence University library to connect their laptops to the school's WIFI, and the rest is history. Cheli and Cindy became inseparable from the day they met. Cheli is the type of friend that goes above and beyond for the people that she cares about, with a kindness and loyalty that is unmatched. Anyone who has an Araceli in their life has won the friend lottery, and Cindy feels like the luckiest winner of all to have her standing nearby as she says 'I do.'

How many people are lucky enough to have one of their best friends also be part of their family? Not many. Sandy and Cindy were destined to not only be sisters-in-law, but besties. Their love of cozy hobbies and antics have brought them together. Sandy is a fierce and loyal protector who brings a sense of home (and a lot of laughter) to Cindy’s life. Anyone who has her in their corner is forever lucky, and Cindy is honored to have her standing by her side.

20 years of friendship and counting. Griffin and Cindy met on their very first day of middle school. Throughout the years they have bonded over their love of art, music, books, and, IYKYK, Death Cab for Cutie. Through the transitions of high school, college, and beyond, their friendship has remained an anchor. Having a best friend who truly 'knows your story' is a gift, and Cindy is so grateful to have Griffin by her side as she starts this new chapter.

Partners in crime at work and best friends in life, Helenna and Cindy are a package deal. Known to their students as an inseparable duo, they’ve spent years supporting one another through the highs and lows of teaching. Helenna is a fierce, loyal, and spunky soul who treats her friends like family. She is the kind of person who shows up when it matters most, and Cindy couldn't imagine her wedding day without Helenna’s bright energy and heart of gold.

Roommates by chance, friends by choice. From senior year roommates at Lawrence University to lifelong best friends, Monica and Cindy have been through it all. A fellow Cancer with a heart of gold and a hilariously dry wit, Monica has been a constant in Cindy’s life through every transition. Whether they were having snowball fights on campus or planning their careers over coffee at Panera, they’ve always been each other's biggest supporters. Having her as a bridesmaid is the perfect way to celebrate over a decade of friendship.

Being only four years apart, Beto and Carlos have spent a lifetime in sync. Their bond evolved from childhood wrestling matches and Pokémon games to their current adult obsession: trying new recipes in the kitchen. Growing up, Carlos always looked up to his big brother; there is truly no one else who could have pushed Carlos to persevere or motivated him to reach for more. It’s only fitting that he stands as Best Man—even if he did once try to convince their mom to sell Carlos for a dollar (or at least ship him back via FedEx) when he was a newborn.

Jacob and Carlos are more than just cousins; having grown up together under their grandparents' roof, they share a bond that feels like brotherhood. Despite a nine-year age gap, Jacob often displays a maturity well beyond his years. Carlos has always admired his drive and focused ambition. Whether they are deep-diving into Metal Gear Solid, analyzing Better Call Saul, or just reminiscing about old times, their connection is effortless. Carlos is proud to have such a driven and grounded man standing by his side.

When Carlos was assigned a seat next to Hector during their freshman year at Noble, he didn't realize he’d just met a lifelong friend. From teenage hijinks to attending the same university, their paths have remained intertwined. Hector is the rare friend Carlos can count on for a major favor or a perfectly timed, ridiculous Instagram reel. Despite their separate careers, they remain constants in each other's lives—always ready for a good laugh, a deep conversation, or a long-overdue trip down memory lane.

From sitting side-by-side in high school classes to sharing the hard-fought victories and losses of high school football and rugby, Carlos and Irvin have been through it all. Their journey continued through community college and even into the professional world as work colleagues. Not many people are lucky enough to have a friend present for nearly every major life chapter. While their careers have since diverged, Irvin remains a permanent constant.

When Carlos first met Michael, he wasn’t sure what to think, but a bond quickly formed over a shared love for sports and Pokémon. Over the last six years, Michael has truly come into his own. Whether he’s quoting Nacho Libre with perfect execution or deep-diving into Star Wars lore, Michael brings a unique energy to the family. Having worked alongside him for a year, Carlos has seen his impressive maturity firsthand. There is no one else Carlos would rather have as a brother-in-law and friend.

Cynthia and Jaime’s 14-year friendship is built on pure adventure, from cross-country road trips and anthropology all-nighters to narrowly surviving a rogue Toppers delivery driver. When Jaime and Carlos met six years ago, they hit it off instantly, bonding over a shared, dry, King of the Hill-style sense of humor. Since then, Jaime has been a steadfast pillar for both the bride and groom. Whether it’s offering support during tough times or leading the celebration, they always know Jaime has their backs—and tell you hwat, the feeling is mutual.
