Tropical Wedding Dress Code Light and cool fabrics like linen, cotton, silk, and other vaporous textiles are highly recommended. Men: You can wear a traditional guyabera or a white or light colored dress shirt. Dress pants and shoes. Please do not wear a suit as it will be hot. (no ties required) Para El: Guayabera formal o atuendo de lino (sin corbata). Debido al calor, recomendamos no ir de traje. Women: A formal sundress below the knee level, at full-length or tea-length (half way between knees and ankles), with open shoes (sandal type) and thick or wages heel types preferable (so you don’t get jammed in the grass). Para Ella: Vestido formal a la altura de la rodilla, tres cuartos o largo, zapato abierto o tipo sandalia.
