Well, we had a blind date in our early 30s. He was very quiet, so I figured he didn't like me and that was that. We causually kept in touch for a few years as friends and about 11 years ago dated for about 2 years. Then last year, we found each other again. I (Cyndie) had always wondered about him and he showed up on a dating site. I also saw him around the interwebs but didn't reach out. This time I did, the timing was right and we started dating again. Over this past year, we realized we could survive just about anything. The house became a game of "what else could go wrong?" ( Word to the wise, Don't EVER ask that! something else will!) Washer, drier, dishwasher, dehumidifier, downstairs tricky toilet, flooded dining room floor, flooded bathrooms...My cat died over the summer. He moved in and Jackson (his wonderful son) got my extra bedroom. My house became less a house and more a home and now we are a family, handling middle aged life of home ownership and children and a wedding! It's all very exciting as this is both our first (and only) time! Anyway, in 1 year, we grew a lot more than we did the last 10 years. And we look forward for the next 10, and 10 after that..and that..and that.
