We're headed to the chapel

Our story seems to one of those that is right out of the Hallmark channel. Michael and I met 13 years ago through mutual friends. We did not know it then, but 13 years later, we would be planning a wedding and life together. Although we were not super close over the years, we always remained in touch. I would occasionally pop into one of his concerts when they came to a town near me. We would share the occasional "happy birthday" on Facebook. Little did I know, he would be my husband. All those small connections led us to where God has us today. We started dating at the beginning of 2024. We never really saw ourselves as "just dating", we knew from the moment we reconnected that we would be spending the rest of our lives together. I think we were secretly engaged before people even knew we were together. I remember one day, early on, Michael looked at me and said, "you know I will marry you before the end of the year, right?" I laughed it off and with an eye roll said " HA! Yeah, OOOKAY, whatever you say!" He pulls out his phone, being a smart mouth and says " you don't believe me?? Yep, (looking at the calendar) October 26th! We are getting married!!" He and God must have had a talk that I didn't know about because the ONLY date that was left at the venue of my dreams was OCTOBER 26th, 2024! Not that I didn't already know it, but at that moment I said to myself "Okay God, this is who you have had for me all along. This is meant to be." We truly believe that we are who God had saved for each other. We are so blessed and lucky and have found forever in each other. We thank God every single day for giving us to each other. We cannot wait to be joined together, under God, as husband and wife. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our family and close friends. We are so thankful for each and every one of you for your love and support.
