Ultimately, Chico States Greek life is to thank for the beginnings of our relationship. Everyone else in our lives must have seen us together before we even could! We were introduced many times by mutual friends in college at parties and events. Somehow we had followed each other on Instagram (although we debate to this day on who followed who first). We became college sweethearts and the rest is history!

After college and long distance we moved into our small, sweet town of Ripon together. Since, we have created the life we have always wanted. We have grown into our careers, traveled the world, started new hobbies and adopted our crazy orange cat Hobbes.

Since the beginning, our favorite place has been Capitola By the Sea/La Selva Beach. Not only does Hunter have a special family history there, it is where we have taken countless trips together from our very first months as a couple to today. Our first trip there, during a beautiful sunset at La Selva Beach, a man with a metal detector stated he was "detecting two people very much in love." Little did he know, we would be getting engaged on the bluffs of that same beach a few years later.
