Evan and I have always known each other. Or at least known "about" each other. Our families have been friends for years since before Evan and I's time. Our parents would bring each other to the other's houses and we would play together. But as we got older and life got in the way our families didn't hang out as often, but still went to church together. Evan and I were in the same youth group, choir, and church musicals together but we never really crossed paths socially. We went to different schools and had different social groups. But I always noticed him, but never thought much of it. Fast forward to 2017 when sitting in Mason Bar in the AG Village with my best friend, Bethany. I notice Evan sitting with his family. I asked Bethany if she remembered him and told her I thought it was weird because he had come up on a dating app earlier that week for me. Evan stayed behind after his family left and I told Bethany I was going to talk to him. But I never did. Only later would I find out he stayed behind to talk to me as well, but never did. Then through the magic of Tinder did we find each other again, both swiped right and the rest is history!
