Who knew that telling DeMarques he's lying about his age would lead to love. It was October 2007 and DeMarques and I was waiting for our MIS 210 class to start. DeMarques said that he just celebrated his birthday. I asked him how old he was and I couldn't believe his response. I called him a liar and told him he needed to show me his ID. DeMarques gave me his ID. Who knew that he was actually telling the truth? I smirked, gave him his ID, and did not apologized for calling him a liar. Who knew that was the start of our love story. After that inital conversation we became really good friends. We worked together on a class project, which lead to a lot of phone conversations, text messages, and emails. April 2008, I officially became his girlfriend. October 2019 after a long day of work, DeMarques came into the room with a ring in his hand. Then he asked, "Cximare, will you marry me?" I screamed, "Yes!"
