Best Man
Chris has been my best friend since kindergarten. We grew up right across the street from each other on Greenleaf. We started out as friends, became best friends, and over the years he’s become a brother to me. We’ve been through everything together, from riding bikes until the sun went down, to first girlfriends, high school, the party years, and now this moment. From mushroom cuts, to spikey hair, and even trying to give each other fades, we’ve pretty much gone through every phase of life together. I couldn’t imagine standing here without him as my best man.
Maid of Honor
Maria who’s married to one of Voltaire’s childhood friends, Cary unexpectedly became one of my closest friends after I jokingly teased her about waxing her mustache. From that moment on, we just clicked. She’s the one who keeps me grounded and isn’t afraid to call me out when I’m doing too much. We can spend hours on the phone talking about absolutely everything and nothing at the same time. She’s my forever pho and sushi date, my go to person to vent with, laugh with, and figure life out with. Maria is someone I can truly count on. That honesty, loyalty, and realness between us is what turned our friendship into something so special.
Groomsman
We’ve been close since 3rd grade. He invited me to his birthday party, and I was literally the only one who showed up… so now he’s stuck with me for life. He was also my partner in crime at all the junior high dances and the guy I practiced break dance moves with. He’s one of the people that really made my childhood and teen years memorable. Not only those years, but even many years later he’s still someone I can count on to keep making great memories with. Over the years, he’s also become someone I can always count on for good financial advice, so if anyone here needs investment tips, talk to him after the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Jordan — my bestie since day one 🤍 We met on the South School blacktop in kindergarten and instantly became partners in crime. From that moment on, it’s been nonstop laughs, a little chaos, and somehow always finding our way back to each other. She’s the person who just gets me — no explanations needed. We can say one word, share a look, and already be crying laughing. Life with her has been a mix of questionable decisions, unforgettable memories, and being there for each other through every phase.
Groomsman
I’ve known Arturo since 3rd grade, and we’ve been close ever since. From junior high dances to somehow becoming “twins” after winning a twin contest in 6th grade, we’ve shared so many unforgettable moments. He’s someone I’ve always been able to count on no matter what.
Bridesmaid
Kristina has been a real one since high school, the friend who said “yes” to everything — especially chaos. From cheerleading days and piercing belly buttons at practice to sneaking out in the middle of the night for a good time, she was right there with me through every wild moment. Then she married Arturo one of Voltaire’s closest friends, so now we’re bonded for life
Groomsman
Jorge and I have been friends since 4th grade. I stood up at his wedding, and now he’s returning the favor. From Jorge being one of my first friends to get his license and then crashing his car into a rock, to surviving a near disaster when I basically saved his life after a fireworks mishap, we’ve been through a lot together. Jorge is someone that has been there for me ever since we became friends, and he’s been like family ever since.
Bridesmaid
I met Erica in high school — she was a junior and we were the freshman meat she swore she wanted nothing to do with. But once she realized I was sticking around, she accepted me, and we became inseparable. From laughing and crying together to venting about our relationships, to country music obsessions and laughing until we can’t breathe… she’s become one of my most treasured friends.
Groomsman
I met Jimmy freshman year of high school, and he quickly became a big part of my life. He was always the one throwing the parties and somehow knew everything. He’s basically our group’s Google and GPS—if you need anything, Jimmy’s your guy.
Bridesmaid
Monica and I became close freshman year, and we’ve been a beautiful disaster ever since — party hopping in the north shore , Spybar and Sound-Bar nights, and her being our “responsible” driver even though none of us should’ve been driving anything. We’ve grown up (a little), survived everything together, and she’s turned into one of the most solid people in my life.
Groomsman
I’ve known Pavel since 3rd grade, and we’ve been close ever since. He’s the kind of friend you can always count on—whether it’s for a good laugh, solid advice, or a “lock” sports pick. He’s been there through so many stages of life, and I’m lucky to have him by my side.
Bridesmaid
My Kiki — we met when she married Voltaire’s childhood friend George, and she immediately became one of my people. She’s the friend I call to complain about anything, and she’ll agree, hype me up, and back me every time. She’s a real one I can always depend on, and she never ignores my calls (even when she should).
Coin Bearer
Bryson is smart, loving, and full of personality—the best Kuya to baby Aliyah and Carter, always making them laugh and keeping them in line. He’s known for saying the funniest, most honest things—you truly never know what he’s going to say, but it’s always entertaining. With his kind heart and warm spirit, he brings so much joy wherever he goes. He loves Transformers, being silly with his siblings, and can definitely talk your ear off. As our coin holder, Bryson has one very important job—guarding our coins like a true pro. And if anyone tries to take them… well, let’s just say he’s got the personality (and the voice) to make sure that doesn’t happen!
Ring Bearer
Carter is the sweetest, most gentle little soul. Though he may be quiet, his loving nature shines through in everything he does—especially in his warm, unforgettable smile. He loves Blippi, monster trucks, and most of all, his baby sister. Carter looks up to his Kuya Bryson with so much admiration, always following his lead with a heart full of love. He brings such a calm and kind presence wherever he goes, and we’re so lucky to have him as our ring bearer—trusted with the most important job of all: safely delivering our rings down the aisle.
Flower Girl
Madison is quiet, sweet, and incredibly loving, with a gentle and thoughtful spirit beyond her years. She’s smart and curious, always enjoying little adventures, chatting away, and playing pretend. Madison keeps us all on our toes—she might even speak more Filipino than we do! She loves Ms. Rachel, jumping around, and spending time with her Lolo while learning Tagalog. She brings so much joy and sweetness wherever she goes, and we’re so lucky to have her as our flower girl.
