Beaches

The Guanacaste province is famous for its amazing beaches. Through staying at Hacienda Pinilla, you will have access to Langosta Beach, Mansita Beach, and Playa Avellanas (a paradisiacal beach with lots of surfing). If you want to explore the beautiful coastline, take a quick cab ride to any of the beaches below: Playa Tamarindo: 20-25 minutes away. It is small town with everything you need within walking distance-a casual, local vibe, and a very popular surfing spot. Playa Flamingo: a more developed, resort town within walking distance. Its fluffy white sand beaches are backed by quiet mangroves. Check out the Coco Loco for food and drinks here! Playa Conchal: the sand is mostly made up of tiny broken shells and the water is clear and usually good for snorkeling. Playa Conchal is home to the Westin Reserva Conchal Resort, but if you aren’t staying there, you can still access the beach on foot. Other popular beaches not too far include Playa Grande, Playa Danta, and Playa Penca
