It's happening!

Brittany and Mike would have never normally crossed paths. He's from Garfield. She was living in Painesville. One friendly invitation to a family barbecue changed everything. Mike worked with Brittany's father, and was invited to attend a 4th of July cookout at her parents house. Thankfully he accepted! As soon as he walked into the yard, he had Brittany's full attention. They spent most of the evening talking and innocently enjoying each other's company. When nothing happened between them that night, Brittany was nothing short of disappointed. A few days later, Mike sent Brittany a friend request followed by a private message. They swapped numbers almost immediately and haven't stopped talking since. Their first official date was on July 21, 2020. Mike picked her up, they enjoyed a quiet dinner at Petti's, one of her favorite local restaurants, and then sat at the lake learning all about each other. Exactly one week later Mike made their relationship official, and you could probably count on one hand how many days they've spent apart since. That first date quickly sealed the deal for them both. Fate, magic, destiny, call it what you will. These two truly have a bond like no other and really are each others better half. Mike, seemingly overnight, stepped right in to Brittany's children's lives as well. They gravitated towards him just as he did them. He was the piece Brittany didn't even realize was missing, and she gave him the family he didn't know he needed. Now, just a year and a half after meeting, they're anxiously awaiting their wedding day and the arrival of their precious baby boy, Luka Michael.
