On March 8, 2025, Cameron was told she was going to girls’ brunch. A casual plan. A safe plan. Absolutely nothing suspicious about it. Instead, Liz very casually walked her straight into Piedmont Park, where Cameron immediately realized she had been fully lied to (in the best way). Waiting by the pond were Cody, her entire family, and a moment she did not see coming but will never forget. Cody asked Cameron to marry him in one of the most beautiful spots in Atlanta, surrounded by the people who know and love them best. There were happy tears, shocked laughter, and a very enthusiastic yes. Naturally, the celebration continued exactly how this story should, with margaritas, tacos, and a full-on engagement celebration at El Torero Mexican Restaurant.
