Alex and Emily met at a game night hosted by their mutual friends. Alex got Emily's phone number by asking her to play iMessage games with him (very smooth). They were just friends at first, or so Emily thought. Alex would call Emily on his drive home from work every day, and they both really enjoyed talking to each other. They had many things in common, and had great conversations. Eventually, Alex asked Emily if she wanted to go to a golf driving range with him that Saturday, and clarified, to Emily's surprise, that it was a date. She said yes! He hung up the phone, but immediately called back and said he couldn't wait until then, and could they please go get ice cream that night, too? That was Wednesday. They ended up going on two more dates before their first "official" date. They just loved spending time with each other. They are so excited to get married and spend time with each other for the rest of their lives!
