Jordan and Maddie met when they were 17 years old, working part-time jobs at Modells Sporting Goods. They bonded over their mutual disdain for retail, and soon, Maddie was transferring over to work at Jordan's family's business, Sugar&Spice. From there, a summer romance began, knowing there would be an eventual end date in August, when Maddie would be moving to Pennsylvania to attend Bloomsburg University. They went their separate ways with a tearful goodbye, thinking that was that. Within a month, the "I miss you" calls began, and soon, they were trying to figure out how this long-distance thing was going to work. Somehow, the every-other-week visits, texts, phone calls, and Facetimes only strengthened their relationship. Four years later, college was over, Maddie was back in town, and they were moving in together! September 29, 2023, Maddie and Jordan were seven days into their Sicilian vacation and Maddie had pretty much given up on the idea of a proposal. But much to her surprise, while walking along the coast of Palermo, Jordan got down on one knee, popped the question, and the rest was history. We cannot wait to celebrate the last seven years we have spent together and the many more years to come with our most loved friends and family!
