Are you allowed to smoke?
Answer
Smoking is allowed ONLY in certain areas please smoke in the designated area, as the owners of the venue want to protect their animals

Will animals be there?
Answer
Yes our venue has donkeys and horses, which you can touch, but we kindly ask you not to feed the animals

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We want you to look and feel your best on our big day! We are requesting suits with ties/bowties . Women - floor length gowns , cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Please do not wear jeans . Ladies, please refrain from wearing colors that are reserved for the bride such as white, cream, or ivory.

Is there preferred colors to wear?
Answer
I ask that all immediate family members try to wear 1 of these color for photo purposes, if you can’t that’s okay! Dark Champagne, burnt orange/terracotta, green,peach,black, darker neutrals!

Parking?
Answer
Parking is free, there are a few spots with signs for parents of the bride and groom we kindly ask that you don’t park there as they are reserved , our venue is also handicapped and works perfect for anyone in a wheelchair.

How and when to RSVP ?
Answer
When you receive your invitation in the mail, there will be a link to this website. You may RSVP through the "RSVP" tab at the top of this page, or text Kate at 941-999-0910 ,We ask you you please rsvp by January 4th 2025 As we need an accurate head count for food and drinks!

Are children invited to the wedding
Answer
We’re keeping the ceremony a bit more grown-up ,Please note that the ceremony is reserved for guests aged 12 and above. Everyone is welcome to join us for the cocktail hour & reception afterward. we just ask that your kids be with an adult at all times. If you plan on bring your kids please just message me and let me know ahead of time!

Can I take pictures/ videos during the ceremony?
Answer
We have hired an extremely talented professional photographer to capture this special moment in our life. We kindly ask that you respect our wishes of no cell phone use during the ceremony. You will have many opportunities to take photos & videos immediately following the ceremony.

Indoors or outdoors?
Answer
We plan to have an outdoor ceremony at our venue! Our venue has an indoor ceremony option in the case of rain. Our reception will be held in a barn indoors and the venue has air conditioning.

We are getting married at a beautiful barn!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No, our venue is out in the middle of nowhere, all hotels are 20 minutes away, we ask if you have had too much to drink to order an Uber, and pick up your car the next day!

RSVP for food and drink?
Answer
We kindly ask that when you RSVP that you pick 1 thing from the following food options and if you will be drinking more wine, beer or cocktails to ensure everyone get what they want!
