Who else would I have picked? Honestly, the position was filled before I was even born. Of course, I picked my big sister—my built-in best friend and the person who has been "supervising" my life since day one. She’s the girl who literally wished for me into this world, though I’m sure there were a few years in the early 2000s where she seriously considered asking for a refund. I couldn't imagine anyone else standing right next to me!
Reno Ramirez
Best Man
Jacob and Reno have been best friends their entire lives, and honestly, if Jacob wasn't marrying me, he’d probably be at the altar with Reno. Reno is officially the funniest guy we know and somehow has more friends than the rest of us combined. Even though he’s clearly the most popular man in any room, he still (mercifully) chooses to hang out with us. I’m just glad he’s willing to share the spotlight for one day!
Suzy Farmer

Suzy and I met in college in the most sophisticated way possible: we caught each other drinking a beer, looked at one another, and simultaneously said, "Beer?" "Beer." The rest was history. Since that fateful meeting, we’ve traveled the world together and maintained a sacred Thursday night girls' night tradition. We even successfully (and secretly) convinced our partners that moving down the street from each other was their idea. I couldn't imagine standing up there without my neighborhood co-conspirator!
Devon Pope

The kindest, most selfless guy we know. Devon brings so much joy and light to everyone he meets, and he’d give you the shirt off his back without a second thought. He is a truly amazing friend, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have him in our wedding party and our lives!
Brooke Tompkins

Denton’s infamous "Tequila Gals" are officially reuniting for the big day! Brooke and I became instant besties in college while navigating the same major and a shared appreciation for a good lime and salt. We’ve traveled the world together and, though we don't live in the same city anymore, she’s still the first person I call for everything. I couldn’t imagine saying "I do" without my fellow Tequila Gal by my side!
Josh Spokely

One of Jacob’s first friends after the big move to Texas. Spokely is a fantastic friend in many respects. Whether it be matching the chaotic, dare I say nightmare-ish, energy in the room, being a calm presence when in stressful situations, or just keeping a low profile and enjoying each other’s company. He is an incredibly busy person who has a million things to do at all times but somehow always makes time for the people he cares about and never complains once. Truly a dependable pillar we can all lean on.

Future sister-in-law, current best friend, and the person I’m most excited to officially call "family." I’m so incredibly lucky that marrying the man of my dreams means gaining a sister like Payton. I can’t wait to have her by my side when we make it official!
David Farmer

God forbid you ever put David and Jacob in a room together. These two share exactly one brain cell, and they spend 100% of their time together using it to get into trouble. Even when Suzy and I are right there, they only have eyes for each other—usually while "oga booga-ing" and having the absolute best (and loudest) time possible. We love Farmer's energy and couldn't imagine a wedding without his brand of chaos and joy!

Everyone needs an Alli in their life, but I’m the lucky one who gets to call her my bestie. Even though we met in college, our friendship feels like it spans a lifetime. She is the most genuinely kind soul I know, and her constant support and joy have been such a light in my life. Having her up there with me as I say "I do" is a dream come true!

Every wedding party needs a Ryan to balance out the "one brain cell" energy of the other groomsmen. He’s the ultimate "low-maintenance" friend who is always down for a good time, but he’s also a secret weapon—one minute he’s being the chillest guy in the room, and the next he’s dropping the fastest, funniest comeback you’ve ever heard. We couldn't imagine our big day (or our lives) without him!

Proof that good things can come from terrible places! Gracie and I met just three years ago at a job that shall not be named, and she was easily the best thing I took from that office. She is my go-to person for everything—the friend who will always tell it like it is, but will also be the most loyal person in your corner. She knows all my secrets and makes every situation better just by being there. I love her to pieces and couldn't imagine this day without my favorite person up there with me!

Energy is necessary and no one brings it like Grant. A bottle rocket of a person. He is incredibly social and optimistic, with such a carpe diem attitude that gets addictive if you’re around him. A very loyal friend who does not hesitate to show when the ones he cares about need him the most. Through the dark times he lights up the most.
