The Future Herricks

Our story began in the second semester of my sophomore year at Pensacola State College. At the time, I was an education major, and Owen was studying criminal justice, (though neither of us stuck with those paths!) As fate would have it, we both ended up in the same Elements of Nutrition course. From the moment I saw Owen—with his blond hair, blue eyes, and, let’s be honest, his lifted F-150—I was hooked! Lucky for me, my curly hair and a little nudge from my best friend (who texted him to “shoot his shot”) gave him just enough courage to ask me on a date. Even luckier, he never stopped asking! On August 22, 2024, he asked me the most beautiful question I’d ever heard: “Will you marry me?” The Lord has been so faithful, blessing us beyond measure. This season of life is truly an answered prayer, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have each of you as part of our journey! Love, Morgan
