Highly rated whale watching company that leaves out of Port Townsend. Whale watching and taking a boat is a must! It will be a good time of year to go do this too.
Located inside Olympic National Park, this iconic spot offers panoramic views of jagged, snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows. Guests can drive straight to the visitor center and take short, paved walks like the Hurricane Hill Trail to see sweeping vistas of the Olympic range. You can either drive up there or take a shuttle from Port Angeles to avoid limited parking.
Don't forget national parks have an entrance fee. You could also get an America the Beautiful pass (good for a year) to visit any national park! :)
Take a ferry from Port Townsend to Whidbey Island, San Juan Islands, or Orca Island.
kayak or paddle board here! It is such a beautiful lake!
Take this ferry!!!! 35-40 minute ferry ride with a breathtaking view of downtown Seattle. Bainbridge is a fun small town to walk through as well. The Seattle ferry terminal is conveniently located close to Pike's Place.
Have walked this park many times in Seattle. It is beautiful.
One of my favorite national parks! You need to go if you have the time. About 1-2 hours away from Seattle.
Fun town to visit if you have extra time to spare! About two hours from Seattle. Known for being a "German" town. Being close to the cascades, it also has lots of opportunities of hiking nearby. Colchuck lake is our favorite!
