Introducing the maid of honor, Carly. Peyton’s childhood best friend and longtime softball teammate—who somehow managed to turn every game into a new injury story, including one memorable concussion. Despite it all, they’ve stayed best friends through everything. From lake trips to growing up in each other’s homes, they share that rare kind of bond where they know each other’s families like their own.

Introducing Katie, one of Peyton’s bridesmaids and her cousin. She’s been there through it all—the good, the bad, and everything in between. From fighting over their great-grandma Carmen’s walker when they were little, to riding Nonnie’s motorized wheelchair down the street, to sharing pumpkin pie at holidays (mostly whipped cream, of course), they’ve grown up side by side with a bond that’s always been unshakable.

They met playing college softball and quickly became inseparable through anatomy and kinesiology classes, countless study sessions, and far too many Starbucks runs in a single day. Between running poles on the softball field and sprinting parking garages together, they’ve seen it all and have been through every season of college life side by side.

Introducing Ted, the father of the bride. Peyton’s literal twin in personality, attitude, and stubbornness. He’s the man who taught her everything she knows about softball, hard work, and dedication, and the one who’s always expected nothing less than her best. He also famously didn’t approve of any of Peyton’s boyfriends—until Sean Patrick came along. And if you’ve ever wondered where Peyton gets her attitude from… look no further.

A proud LSU fan—but we still love him anyway. He’s always a fun time, someone you can count on for a beer and a good laugh, and he also cooks an incredible jambalaya and gumbo that you don’t want to miss.
