Kathryn and Taylor met on a blind date from Hinge... the app made to be deleted! :) Taylor was not from Memphis and didn't know many people, while Kathryn was opposed to dating apps but will forever be thankful to her best friend, Ellen, for making her download it. Their first date was at Loflin Yard, and Taylor brought along his golden retriever, Max. They both agree it was the BEST first date! After a few months of talking, they made things official, and the rest is history!

After weeks of Kathryn trying to change the plans, Taylor finally convinced her to go to Alchemy for a Valentine's Day dinner. Taylor told her to promptly be ready at 5:30, and if you know Kathryn, she's typically a little late. He was very adamant about her being on time for once! When they got in the car, instead of going to the restaurant, Taylor drove to Loflin Yard where they had their first date. There was not a soul there when they walked in. He had set up lights, pictures, and candles in their "spot" and got down on one knee. It was the very best and most perfect day! Valentine's Day will forever be one of their favorite holidays.
