Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

There is an "RSVP" tab that will appear once formal invitations are sent. Once you enter your name, the full list of guests that are attached to your household will pop up and you can RSVP to whichever events you can make. Guests will be explicitly named on this screen and you cannot add additional guests, but you may decline for certain guests as applicable. Please reach out to Madison if you are having trouble with the RSVP link. We hope to see you all there!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

March 25, 2025

Question

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided, it will be marked as no. We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner. They have given us a deadline and cannot except late RSVPs due to this. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

The guests who are invited to our wedding are explicitly mentioned by name on your invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If you are still not sure, please reach out before making any plans.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. We would love it if everyone dressed up for this event that we are beyond excited for, but we understand we are getting married in a barn-area. The walkways around the property are gravel, the Ceremony will take place on a grassy area, and the Cocktail Hour & Reception are on a cement slab/barn area. Please plan your shoes accordingly! The bridesmaids will be in peacock teal, Bermuda blue, and moody blue (Azazie for specific color). Please refrain from dressing in those colors, it is greatly appreciated!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

There will be an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. We recommend a light jacket for the evening. Please plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

In order to allow the guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an age 15+ only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Question

Accessibility

Answer

If you or someone in your party has issues with hills, please let us know by reaching out to our wedding planner, Taylor Cheney. We are planning to have shuttles between the ceremony and reception site, but please let her know if any additional accommodations are needed!

Question

How will I know where the ceremony is?

Answer

There will be signage throughout the venue (and leading up to the venue as well). There is a fairly large driveway that will have signage throughout pointing to the venue site. Furthermore, parking and transportation between reception and ceremony site will be coordinated by us.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony which means no photos! We ask all guests to follow this and be completely present during our special time. Our hired professionals will be doing the photo taking during this time. Feel free to take all the photos you would like after we say, I do!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" tab for our recommendations!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for up to 80 cars at the reception site - it is a bit of a walk to the ceremony site, and there is some parking space over at the ceremony site as well (although not as much). There will be signs for directions leading up to each site. We are also planning a shuttle between ceremony and reception site for all guests after the ceremony!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

We are collecting that information through our digital RSVP system! RSVP's will become available once formal invitations are sent out. Please let Madison know if you are having trouble entering the information!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have a registry through Zola, check out the "registry" tab! This also includes registry items through Target and Amazon. Although gifts are appreciated, we are eternally grateful for your presence on our special day!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

All events are posted on the "Schedule" tab. Please refer to that tab for more information!

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so sit wherever you please; however, please allow for family within the processional to have the first few aisles. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one or partner).

Question

What do I do if I am late for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:30 pm. We recommend guests arrive between 4:00-4:15 so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you happen to be late, someone will be there to let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight, and we will see you at the reception. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will there be an Open Bar?

Answer

Yes, the drinks are on us...but the hangovers are on you! We will be providing a fully open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red & white wines (as well as multiple non-alcoholic options and coffee). Get ready to celebrate!

Question

Since there will be an open bar, what do we do about driving?

Answer

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. There will be little to no cell service at the reception, so please have a Designated Driver planned for. There will be plenty of non-alcoholic beverage options as well, so the Designated Driver will be taken care of!

Question

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

Yes! However, as mentioned above, our ceremony will be unplugged! We have hired a photographer and content creator to capture those special moments. After the ceremony, feel free to click away!
