Question

Why are you getting married in Maine?

Answer

Curtis and Will have spent lots of time hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring different regions across Maine. Having lived in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, they hope to one day create their forever home somewhere in Maine. When choosing where in their favorite state to tie the knot, the significance of Merrymeeting Bay made it an easy choice. “There are said to be only four places in the world where two major rivers--with entirely separate watersheds--converge at their mouths to form a common delta. Three are famous, having loomed large in the histories and economies of their regions: the Sacramento, San Joaquin delta in California; Tigris, Euphrates delta in Iraq; and the Ganges, Brahmaputra delta in Bangladesh. The fourth is Merrymeeting Bay in Maine. It is unfamiliar to most people, even within its immediate vicinity.” (Confluence: Merrymeeting bay, Franklin Burroughs) Curtis and Will are so excited to be at this stage in their lives where their rivers are finally merging to create one strong, steady, powerful current. Please help them celebrate this confluence of love and send them down river on their journey of life!

Question

Can I stay at The Harpswell Inn?

Question

How do we get to the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will depart from the Brunswick Fairfield Inn promptly at 3:30 pm and arrive at The Harpswell Inn around 3:50. Guests staying at other accommodations can still utilize this service. Transportation back to the Fairfield Inn will leave at 8:30pm and again at the end of the evening, at 10pm.

Question

Answer

Yes, semi formal garden party attire. Colors and prints are encouraged! The wedding will be held outside so dress accordingly.

Question

So, who is the bride?

Answer

This is super weird, don't ask this! We're both grooms!

Question

What is “Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?”

Answer

Curtis and Will love horror movies, with “The Witch” being one of their favorites. In the movie there is a character named “Black Phillip” who is essentially Satan in the form of a black billy goat. One of the main characters signs her soul away to Black Phillip when asked “Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?”, in exchange for a comfortable life. Given that Curtis and Will are getting married on 6/6/26, and are signing a contract to bind them together in the hopes of a comfortable life, they are embracing the 666 of it all and incorporating subtle nods to one of their favorite characters, Black Philip. They are so excited to Live Deliciously together for all of eternity! (No this will not be a goth, satanic wedding. Just nods to fantasy, 666, and Black Phillip.)
