Question

Do y’all have a registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, we kindly ask for contributions to our honeymoon fund (through our Zola registry, Venmo/PayPal @savyscruggs or cash/check)

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking at the venue and there is a parking lot attendant that will direct you when you arrive.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside an air conditioned barn, however the reception will be outside under a covered awning. Although we will have plenty of cold drinks ready and are hoping for sun and a breeze since it's in May, please be prepared for the somewhat unpredictable North Carolina weather!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal! This is your opportunity to get spiffy, such as a lovely dress or perhaps a dress shirt and slacks, but do look at the weather forecast and plan accordingly. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing jeans to our special day.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

A majority of the photos will have been taken before the ceremony so that we can quickly join the party with our guests. Y’all can just head on out to the covered reception area, get a cold (nonalcoholic) drink, and start up cornhole before food is served.

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

This will be a dry wedding! Please keep any and all alcohol at home and simply enjoy the night. For our meal we have catered in Mission BBQ, which will have several certified gluten free options, if you have other dietary restrictions please let us know ahead of time. The cake will have been lovingly prepared by Curtis's grandmother, Donna.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to tag us on social media when they post pictures.
