I've known Chris my whole life of course, I mean he is my brother. But in all sincerity Chris has always been one of my best and truest friends growing up. Chris and I have literally been through everything together, the good times and the bad, the ups and the downs. Chris is just one of those amazing people in my life that has always been there supporting me and cheering me on even when nobody else was, including myself many times. I have always, and will continue to look up to Chris in the ways to be a good husband, and many other important decisions that I will need to make in the future.

There are so many things to say about Cody. Cody, I have also known my entire life. Being my oldest brother, I have always been able to learn a lot from the different ways that Cody lived life. I can honestly say that I have picked up some of my best characteristics from Cody, like: how to truly care about someone, how to give more than you will ever possibly receive in return, and just how to be a genuinely amazing guy. When I think about my future marriage, the characteristics that Cody still continues to show me everyday are the same characteristics that I would love to model for Paige in everyday life.

I've known Travis not quite as long as I've known Cody and Chris, but I've known him for quite a while now. I first met Travis when he showed up in my seventh grade science class. But, I didn't really get the chance to really know him as well as I do now until my senior year of high school. Ironically enough, Travis and I reconnected again my senior year in Physics, which is another science class. Travis is another one of those guys that has continued to be one of the truest friends to me, never giving up or stopping in supporting me even when I made it pretty hard sometimes. Travis is one of the reasons that I knew what to look for in a future wife and what not to. Undoubtedly, I probably wouldn't have known not to settle for anybody that was less amazing than Paige.

Ethan has been very instrumental in my life throughout my time here at Catawba. I didn't really get to start knowing how much he would help shape my life until a DAS retreat my sophomore year. I was facing one of the most important decisions of my life, and I owe a lot of credit to this guy for helping me decide what needed to be the next step in my life. That's just the kind of person that Ethan has been for me. He has been somebody to always talk to and struggle with through some very hard decision-making that I've had to face in my three years so far here at Catawba. Without this guy, I undoubtedly probably would have made a different choice and missed out on the true blessing that Paige continues to be in my life.

I met Johnny my first year here at Catawba College. Not only was he my first "Catawba Experience", he was my teammate, and a really influential mentor as I was unsure and, not ready for, everything that was about to happen over the next couple of years of my life. Johnny has always been one to always be there for me, from hard decisions that I've had to make, different steps that I needed to take, and just overall encouragement along the way (especially with advice as it related to pursuing a Godly spouse and all of the challenges that continued to arise being a student athlete). I have a lot of respect for this guy, and am honored that he agreed to be one of my groomsmen.
