Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony kicks off at 5:00 PM, so plan to arrive with plenty of time; traffic can be tricky! Anywhere from 4:30 to 4:45 is perfect. If you get there early, don't worry! We would rather you be early than late. Let's start on time!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden formal attire! Soft pastels (blush pink, lavender, baby blue, butter yellow), earthy greens (sage, eucalyptus, olive), romantic tones (dusty rose, mauve, coral), rich jewel tones (emerald, deep teal, burgundy, plum), and elegant neutrals (champagne, taupe, cream, soft gray). Patterns like delicate florals, leafy prints, and small floral motifs work perfect! Knee length, midi, tea length, or maxi dresses are ideal. In case of rain, bring a jacket. Gentlemen, jeans are welcome but light wash is preferred. Ladies, try and wear blockier heels as the ceremony is held on artificial turf and pointy heels will poke through! Please avoid wearing white!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, an open bar will be available to all guests!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! Please be sure to include them in your RSVP if you plan on bringing them. If not, we hope you enjoy a night out!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are only included if listed on your invitation. With limited spaces, we're keeping our celebration to those we know and love. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We're having an unplugged ceremony! Before we begin, the officiant will announce that this is an unplugged ceremony and everyone will be asked to put phones away. We would love to allow our amazing photographer to capture every moment. Plus, we'd rather see your smiling faces than a cell phone in our wedding photos.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Zola! You can access our registry through this website via a link at the top of the page. There are gifts from you to choose from as well as a honeymoon fund you can donate to!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

When you pull in the driveway of the venue, you will continue going until you reach the back of the main building. You'll see an empty gravel lot and that is where you will park!

Question

Where do I go for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

For the ceremony, you will enter through the arched pathway directly in front of the main building. Simply find a seat and wait for the ceremony to begin! For the reception, you will exit the same way you entered and enter through two double doors. That is where the reception will be held!

Question

Is there a rain plan? If so, what is it?

Answer

There is a rain plan! In the event of any kind of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved into the cocktail hour room. To enter this room, you will park and walk up the concrete walkway into the courtyard. Through there, you will walk through two double doors and find a seat!

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 31st, 2027!

Question

What should I do if my plans change and I can/can’t make it?

Answer

If you’ve already RSVP’d and something happens and you can’t make it, it’s okay! Simply text me or Curtis and let either one of us know!

Question

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

The timeline for the day will be: ceremony, cocktail hour/pictures, and family, bridal party, and newlywed grand entrance into the reception. Immediately following the grand entrance, the newlyweds will share their first dance, followed by parent dances. After parent dances, guests can go and get dinner. During dinner, speeches and toasts will be made. After dinner, there will be cake cutting, followed by the shoe game. Then it is open dance floor! Close to the end of the night, the newlyweds will share a last dance and then a private last dance. After that, it is send off time and the end of the wedding! The end of the day should be expected around 10:00PM.

Question

Are there are any pre- or post-wedding events guests are invited to?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner is the only pre-wedding event. This event is invite only. There will be no post-wedding events.

Question

Should or can I post on social media?

Answer

Curtis and I both would love if any photos taken during the wedding with any personal phones or cameras were not posted until the day after the wedding! We would love for everybody to be present and in the moment at our wedding and to not be caught up in social media.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have a table set up dedicated to gifts and cards anybody brings! This is where anything you bring can be put.

Question

Is it okay to send a gift later?

Answer

Absolutely! If you can’t make it to the wedding or simply forget your gift, it’s completely okay to send it later!
