The ceremony will be outside so consider a block heel or wedge since you'll be walking in grass. Other than that, dress as fancy or as casual as you like!
We recommend that you drive to Airlie for the ceremony- there is plenty of parking. If staying downtown, we recommend you drive back to your hotel after the ceremony to leave your car for the night. The new reception location is walkable in comfortable shoes (about 1/2 mile) and you will have plenty of time to get there after the ceremony. There is no designated parking lot so if you drive, it will be a metered space on the street. Wilmington also has Lyft, Uber and local cabs just in case you are overserved and need a safe ride home.
We strongly recommend everyone be fully vaccinated and boosted because COVID is still a thing.
We'd love for your whole family to enjoy Wilmington and the surrounding beaches of Wrightsville and Carolina Beach. Kids are welcome to attend the wedding ceremony but given the set-up of the reception we ask that you make other arrangements for the littles during that time. We will be happy to share a list of babysitters if you'd like.
