We will not have a traditional registry. If you would like to give, please consider donating to one, or both, of our preferred organizations (linked below)! Small handmade gifts and cards are also welcomed and appreciated, but not at all expected! Yes! We will have shuttles taking folks to the event, so you won't have to worry about parking if that's not your thing.
Chicago is HOT in August! Be sure to plan for sunny, warm, humid weather. Rain is also always possible, so bring at least one outfit that can keep you dry! While dinner and dancing will be inside, the ceremony and cocktails will be outside (in the garden area and rooftop, respectively - weather permitting).
Right here! This website will be the central hub for all your Caitlin & Curtis wedding needs. We're still figuring things out, so some of it is under construction!
Reach out to us! We love sharing our favorite spots and things to do in Chicago. Also check out the "things to do" section of this website: https://www.zola.com/wedding/curtisandcaitlinaugust11/poi
On a good day, it's about a 20 - 30 minute drive from O'Hare, but typically you can expect somewhere around a 40 minute trip. The 'L' (our municipal train system) Blue Line also runs out to O'Hare and can get you into the city. If you're coming from Midway, it's around a 20 - 30 minute drive to West Loop. Similarly to O'Hare, the Orange Line can take you to the city if you prefer.
Chicago is very big, and (for some) not easily walkable! The 'L' is a very handy, inexpensive way to get around the city - and our bus lines are also good at what they do. Or if you'd prefer not to take public transport, there are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts around as well!
