We met at the age of 13 (me) and 17 (him) in Thomasville, Ga. He was my first everything and I always knew that one day he would make me Mrs. Jefferson. My mom moved us away just after 3 years and we lost touch. 26 years later we reconnected as if we had not missed a beat and in less than 2 months we were moving in together and getting married. And in less than two years later we were getting a divorce. The next two years were the most miserable for the both of us. We didn’t talk to each other at all and we both were going crazy without the other. Unfortunately I had some car issues and had to reach out to our oldest daughter for him to fix my car and when he returned my call, we reconnected all over again. It felt as if we were supposed to be together and after talking and seeing each other and expressing our true feelings, we have been inseparable.
