We're Eloping!

What in the world are we doing?! We're jet setting to the Southern Hemisphere- to the top of some remote mountains- on an island- specifically, South Island, New Zealand- and we're getting there by helicopter! We just want to say that if you've been invited it to our website, we love you all very much and by no means want people to feel like they're excluded. We just wanted to include people in a different way. We decided to elope because I (Sarah) have worked in the wedding industry for years. I'd seen all the different ways to do a wedding and none of them made me say "I want to do that." Personally, I felt that the wedding was fun for everyone, yet the couple was under an enormous amount of stress. It made me realize that instead, I wanted an experience with my husband that was unforgettable and deeply personal. Curt, who has never liked being the center of attention, was all too happy to jump on board with my crazy ideas. We are going to try and keep this website up to date with photos and HOPEFULLY a video of the ceremony posted to the "Photos" page, within an hour or two after the vows take place - if at all possible.
