Junior year of nursing school Mackenzie and Lauren were placed in the same clinical group. After suffering through 4 hour lectures and early morning rotations they quickly became friends. Post graduation they started working at the same hospital where they have pre-shift chit chats in Mackenzie’s car. These days Mackenzie can be found picking up yet another shift at the hospital or hanging out with her 100 pound horse/puppy Wallie.
Bitzy Archibold

Bitzy and Lauren met during nursing school at Creighton where they would carpool to clinical together. After the ceiling of Bitzy’s house collapsed (literally), they decided to become roommates. They lived together for 3 years, during this time they attempted to learn how to play tennis, became way too invested in The Summer I Turned Pretty, and drank an absurd amount of coffee. Bitzy still lives in Omaha and can usually be found reading outside, convincing some poor soul to play her in foosball, or painting.
Kaci Curry

Kaci and Lauren met in 2013 when Kaci started dating Lauren’s brother, Evan. They quickly became friends until Evan finally made them official sisters in 2021! While Evan was in Ames for college Kaci would still come to the house to hang out, help Lauren learn how to match her clothes, and be Lauren’s plus 1 to family events. These days Kaci enjoys snuggling with her golden retriever Charlie, baking new recipes, and exploring new coffee shops.
Kiley Melean

Lauren and Kiley met freshman year of college through mutual friends. Sophomore year they became especially close as they were neighbors and later on roommates where they spent many nights hanging out and making mini waffles or mac n cheese. Kiley still lives in Omaha where she can be found coaching middle school show choir or performing at local theaters, usually with a Diet Coke in hand.
Hannah Akers

Hannah and Lauren were at basketball camp when their coach paired them up to help her prep (as they were both chronically early to every practice) and thus began a friendship of 10 years. Since then, Hannah and Lauren have traveled to Florida beaches, cheered each other on via FaceTime calls, and squeezed in every coffee date possible. Hannah teaches Kindergarten in Illinois and enjoys visiting new places, obsessing over the latest Taylor swift news, and finding new ice cream shops.
Molly Marsengill

Molly and Lauren have known each other since they were in kindergarten, but became friends in the 3rd grade when they were summer pen pals. From slumber parties to visiting each other in college Molly and Lauren have grown from their awkward middle school selves to full adults together. Molly currently lives in Missouri where she teaches first grade. When she’s not working she can usually be found on a boat or hanging out with friends.
Alvin Pham
Best Man
Dom and Alvin met during their freshman year at Creighton, sharing a dorm floor and several business classes. They eventually lived together in the “McMansion” - a beautiful college house filled with 8 guys. Allocated bourbon hunting became a hobby for both of them, attending raffles across the Midwest. When he’s not dreaming of a Pappy, Alvin is probably building keyboards, narrowly avoiding addiction to League of Legends, or spending time with his adorable mini-poodle Arthur.
Cameron Krzmarzick

Cameron is Dom’s younger and definitively shorter brother. Dom’s second memory of Cam Cam is when he was brought home from the hospital right before Christmas, wearing only a red stocking. They grew up with a shared love of baseball and the Vikings, having Nerf gun wars, and playing piano duets together. Cameron closely follows F1 drama and races while attending Texas A&M as an aerospace engineering major and playing piano for the Catholic church on campus.
Christian Weishaar
Groomsman
All part of the same freshman dorm friend group, Dom and Christian became gym, intramural, and accounting buddies - chasing muscles, rings, and A’s together. Also a member of McMansion, Dom and Christian were roommates for the next four years after college. He has always helped hide Lauren’s birthday/Christmas presents and the engagement ring. When he’s not gaming or running absurdly far, he can always be dragged to a baseball game, especially if it includes a College World Series after-party.
James Stevenson
Groomsman
Dom and James met on the first day of summer school before their freshman year of high school. They grew close - despite James playing soccer and Dom playing baseball - as they shared several classes together every year, were some of the few members of the school band/orchestra, and joined just about every lunch and after school club together. These days, James and his wife, Jess, live in Seattle and are active members in their church groups, occasionally get injured in intramural sports, and trying every Seattle coffee shop.
Ian Ogea

Besides sharing finance classes, Dom and Ian were founding members of the Creighton club baseball team. Baseball has remained a key part of their friendship, with several trips each month to Werner Park to watch the Omaha Stormchasers and discuss their fantasy baseball teams. When he's not watching 8 MLB games at once, Ian is probably on the stairmaster or planning his next trip to Red Rocks.
Brendan Johnson

A Creighton freshman dorm. Accounting classes. McMansion. Familiar enough, yet Dom and Brendan’s friendship was unique as they almost share a birthday and thus shared many May birthday trips. Or maybe they truly bonded over the raising of Brendan’s rambunctious puppy, Alfie. When trying to find Brendan, the best bets are at a new dog park with Alfie or on a ski lift in Colorado.
Evelyn Curry
Flower Girl
Evie is Lauren’s 5 year old niece. She loves all things pink and sparkly, making up and singing her own songs, and playing mini pets with her bestie Dom. When they asked her to be a flower girl Evie was so excited she planned her outfit right away: a rainbow dress with polka dot socks.
Finley Curry
Flower Girl
Finley is Lauren’s 5 year old niece. She loves to sing-specifically frozen or Moana, wear pretty dresses, and coffee dates with her mom and dad. When they asked Finley to be a flower girl Finley immediately put on her prettiest dress and said she was ready to go!
Oakley Curry

Oakley is Laurens 2 year old niece. She loves running around outside, helping with cattle chores, and annoying her older sister Finley. Her family refers to Oakley and her sister as Pete and Repeat not only because of their signature Curry blonde hair, but also their knack for getting into mischief.
Noah Curry
Ring Bearer
Noah is Lauren’s 3 year old nephew. He loves dinosaurs- he can name just about all of them, spaghetti, and climbing on anything and everything (already 2 ER visits with this wild child).
