In 2020 (yes the year of Covid), Josh and Anna matched on Bumble. There was friendly sarcasm exchanged. Josh asked Anna to get tacos and margaritas, which she could not say no to. There was no indoor dining so they had to settle for outdoor dining. Josh picked Anna up for their first date. Anna had accidentally sent the wrong direction to her building which Josh still believes was on purpose. Josh took Anna to Los Chingones in Rino in Denver, where they sat on the rooftop with margaritas in the cold. After that, Josh took Anna home. It was about a week until Josh texted Anna again for another date. Again, since it was Covid time, there wasn't much they could do. Josh took Anna up to the top of Lost Gulch (where Josh purposed) in Boulder where they talked, and got dinner after. They had drinks and continued to talk. Anna and Josh soon realized they had been in the same place at the same time multiple times... mostly football games while Josh was playing, however, it seemed to be God working in their lives, waiting for the right moment for them to meet. Their families got close and spent many holidays together as one big family. Now 5 years later, Josh asked Anna to marry him on the top of Lost Gulch.
