Tricia and Rob's story began in late February 2022, at rehearsal for a local production of Guys & Dolls. Tricia joined the cast as one typically does: auditioning for a dream role, callbacks, and anxiously waiting for a phone call. Rob, meanwhile, joined the production a month late to appease a friend's wishes to audition. Though they joined the show for entirely different reasons, Tricia and Rob were united by their shared passion for performance. On the first day of their being in the same cast, Tricia wore an Eagles hat to rehearsal, immediately catching Rob's eye. Naturally, he thought this meant they shared a passion for football as well; in reality, Tricia just "thought she looked cute in kelly green." Meanwhile, on Tricia's side, a now-mutual friend brought Rob to Tricia's attention as "the nice, young man with great skin." No matter their origin, the sparks between Rob and Tricia were undeniable. Over the next few months, Tricia and Rob fell head over heels for one another, both excitedly waiting for the next rehearsal they were both needed for. The moment that proved the two were meant to be, however, was when Rob met Hiccup, Tricia's dog. If you thought the sparks between Rob & Tricia were something to see - you should have seen Hiccup's smile when Rob held him for the first time. Since then, the bond of Tricia and Rob's love has grown stronger every day, able to withstand any storm that comes their way. (No, really, during their very first vacation together, a tornado touched down and forced them into sheltering-in-place at their Airbnb) Tricia & Rob's bond has been inseperable since that first rehearsal - truly becoming the other's best friend. Their days together have been filled with movie nights, performances, sushi dates, walks with the puppy, music, and laughing so hard they cry. Thank goodness they both found someone who thinks the other is the funniest person they've ever met - someone has to! Rob asked Tricia to be his wife on March 10, 2024 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - a place they've frequented for many a date night. Sending her on a scavenger hunt through their love story - complete with stops at the coffee shop they had their first date at, and a very special bench outside the theater where they met - it was the easiest "yes" of Tricia's life.
