Jordan and I grew up just minutes apart and even attended the same high school, yet somehow our paths never crossed. It wasn’t until a night out with friends that we were finally introduced. Throughout the night, my friends did a little matchmaking, and before the evening ended, Jordan told me he would stop by the restaurant I was working at the next time I was scheduled to work. I wasn’t convinced he actually would! Later that night, I received a text from an unknown number asking about a men’s haircut. Confused, I replied, “Who is this, and why are we talking about hair this late at night?” His response: “This is Jordan… and I’m not really texting about hair.” Sure enough, he showed up at my next shift, and the rest is history. About a month later, on our fourth date, Jordan asked me to be his girlfriend outside of 440 Main. Looking back, we truly believe God was guiding our steps all along—placing the right people in our lives and orchestrating the perfect timing for us to meet. We are so grateful for the journey that brought us together and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the family and friends we love most.
