FAQs

Question

Will we need a car to get to the venue?

Answer

Not for guests staying at the Residence Inn. The Residence Inn is hosting all the major events including Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception. If you are local to the area or you are staying at a different hotel, a car may be required. However, rideshare companies are very prevalent in the Valley if you would rather use Uber or Lyft.

Question

Can we bring our children to the event?

Answer

While we love your children, our wedding is an adult-only event. We want all of our guests to feel free to let their hair down and have a night to remember!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Please arrive by 4:15-4:20 to make sure you find the ceremony location and a seat for you and your party.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Every event for our wedding will be outdoors. Spring in Phoenix (both during the day and evening) has some of the best weather around. Temperatures will be in the low 70s during the day a d mid-50s at night. The venue has two large fire pits that will turn on after sunset and pashminas will also be provided for guests.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

For the cocktail hour, there will be light appetizers, beer, and wine available for guests. A buffet-style barbecue dinner will be served soon after cocktail hour. After toasts and speeches, the bar will open to include our signature cocktails and limited spirits with mixers. The bar will continue to serve our guests beer, wine, and cocktails throughout the night.

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please disclose any dietary restrictions when RSVP'ing for the event so we can do everything we can to accommodate you.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We have decided to serve our guests drinks free of charge all night. Prior to speeches and dancing, only beer and wine will be served. Once the dance floor opens, signature cocktails will be provided for guests as well as a select list of spirits and mixers.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We have opted to have an unplugged ceremony as to limit distractions. While we appreciate that you want to capture these moments, we would love for you to join us and fully experience the moment with us!

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10pm. The Residence Inn has graciously allowed our party to stay and converse in their lobby as well as by the fire pits until 12am. There are many restaurants or bars in the area, so after-party details may be determined at a later date.

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 11, 2023!

Question

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

We will be sending out emails, texts, and snail mail to ensure that our guests are updated about any changes to our wedding schedule and weekend.

Question

What's the best way to contact you if I have additional questions?
