Pyramid Point

Collin took Kelly here on her first visit to Traverse City. This mile long hike to the lookout is worth the sweat!

Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive

Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive

South Dune Highway, Empire, MI 49630
, (231) 326-4700

This 7.4 mile drive loops through the Beech-Maple forests and sand dunes. It provides insight to the history of the area and spectacular overlooks of the Glen Lakes, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Lake Michigan. You can take a dune hike along the Cottonwood Trail or stop for a picnic at one of the picnic areas on the drive.

Wineries

Wineries

15900 Rue De Vin, Traverse City, MI 49686

There are 10 wineries on Old Mission Peninsula, and over 40 throughout Traverse City. Our favorites are Bonobo and Brengman Brothers!

Shopping and Dining

Shopping and Dining

303 East State Street, Traverse City, MI 49684
, (231) 922-0241

There are plenty of shops and restaurants to visit throughout Traverse City. Pop into Rare Bird or North Peak for a drink and a bite to eat, and then stop by Cherry Republic or M-22 for some Northern Michigan themed souvenirs before the trip home. Leland, Suttons Bay, and Glen Arbor are a few nearby towns that we also recommend checking out if you have time!
