Late May in Rutherfordton brings beautiful days (~80°F) and crisp mountain evenings (~60°F). Since our events have outdoor elements, we recommend bringing a light layer to stay comfortable after sunset!
Rehearsal Dinner: Dressy Casual
Think polished but comfortable.
Ladies: A maxi dress, jumpsuit, or a sundress paired with a light sweater or denim jacket.
Gentlemen: Chinos or khakis with a button-down or polo. A light jacket is optional for the evening chill.
Wedding Day: Semi-Formal / Cocktail
Ladies: Cocktail dresses, elegant pantsuits, or dressy separates. Pro-tip: Bring a shawl or wrap for the evening!
Gentlemen: A suit and tie, or dress slacks with a blazer.
Footwear: Weather dependent, the ceremony will be on grass! We recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats so you don't sink into the lawn.
