Question

What are the health protocols in light of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

We are encouraged by the availability and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines and DC's current vaccination rates. Our wedding will be indoors, and we ask that guests be fully vaccinated in order to safely celebrate with friends and family. We will be observing DC law, which currently requires masks indoors, and CDC guidelines. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We highly recommend using ride sharing or taxi services, such as Uber, Lyft, or Yellow Cab, due to limited parking availability in DC. Should you choose to drive yourself, there is limited street parking available in Dupont Circle and Georgetown (usually limited to 2 hours) and a parking lot on Georgetown's campus for the ceremony. For the ceremony, guests may park in the lot below the Southwest Quadrangle (accessible via Canal Road) for a fee of $5 per hour.

Question

How do I find Dahlgren Chapel on campus?

Answer

Dahlgren Chapel is located directly behind Healy Hall, the main building you see upon entering campus through the front gates at 3700 O Street. You can access the chapel through Healy Hall using the doors to the left of the main entrance and staircase. You'll know it's the right entrance if you see the Georgetown seal on the floor. Directly in front of that door, you will see another one leading you to the outdoor courtyard in front of Dahlgren Chapel. You can also walk to the right of Healy Hall, make a left through a small underpass on Old North Way, and Dahlgren will be on your lefthand side. For more detailed instructions, please see a map of Georgetown's campus here: https://maps.georgetown.edu/

Question

How do I find Toolbox Art Studio?

Answer

Toolbox is a hidden gem in a brick-paved alley in Dupont Circle; the entrance is in the rear of the Connecticut Avenue address (1627 Connecticut Avenue NW). You can access the space via 19th Street, where we will have a sign and lanterns to light the way.
