Welcome to the Alm Wedding!

FAQs

Question

I didn't get a Save The Date, am I invited?

Answer

USPS is on the naughty list this year. We sent save-the-dates around Christmas but have received quite a few inquiries asking about them because they never arrived. Rest assured, if you are a family member or close friend, we likely sent you a save-the-date but it may have gotten lost in the mail. This is a big bummer because they were like, so cute. Formal invites will be sent mid-May!

Question

How can I RSVP?

Answer

Please take a peek at the RSVP tab! Simply type in your first or last name and you should show up. If you don't, we probably misspelled your name (oops!). Simply send Ori or Austin a message and we'll get you taken care of!

Question

My invitation is only for the reception, is that right?

Answer

It might be, yes. Our ceremony space has limited seating, and while we wish we could have invited everyone to that portion of our day, we had to keep it more intimate. If your invitation includes reception details only, we are so looking forward to celebrating with you there and are truly grateful for your presence!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding party will be dressed to fit a vibe that is light, romantic, and airy. So if you want to fit in with the crew, springy florals and pastels are encouraged (yes, even though it's fall)! But wear whatever you feel your best self in. We don't care if you show up in a LBD or just finished in the field and are rocking overalls!

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

If you received an invite to the ceremony, please arrive 20ish minutes prior to the time listed on the invitation to ensure we can get you seated in time as the doors will close and the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. For the reception, we'd love for guests to arrive between 5:30-5:45 p.m.! This will give everyone plenty of time to mix and mingle prior to dinner.

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is available on-site and is free for all guests at Venue 31. Signs and attendants will guide you when you arrive!

Question

Can we take photos?

Answer

Our officiant will invite guests to be “unplugged” during the ceremony so we can all be fully present for the exchange of vows. After that, we absolutely encourage photos throughout the evening. Bonus points (and probably a hug) if you text us your favorites!

Question

Is this a kid-free event?

Answer

No ma'am! We'd love for you and your family to attend our special day! If your kiddos were listed on your RSVP, please bring them! Or like, if you need a night out without kids, that's cool too.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invitation/RSVP includes a "guest", then yes!

Question

Who can we pester with questions the day of?

Answer

We have two wonderful hosts, Lane and Kaitlyn Alm! They'll be on the lookout for guests who may have questions (like where the bathrooms are or where to sit, etc)! We're all family here so don't hesitate to ask your neighbor if you're unsure. Someone will make sure to point you in the right direction.

Question

How late does the reception last?

Answer

Our reception will end at 11:45 p.m., and our sendoff will be around 11:30 p.m.!

Question

I forgot to RSVP, now what?

Answer

As much as we'd love for everyone to attend, we do need to provide a final headcount to our vendors to ensure there is enough food for everyone as well as a seat at the table. If you missed the RSVP deadline, we will miss you and hope to still celebrate from afar!

Question

I RSVP'd "yes" but now I can't come. Should I tell you?

Answer

Please do! While we will miss your presence, we would like to know if your plans changed so we can maintain an accurate guest count for our vendors and other arrangements.
