Yosemite National Park
If you’re making a trip out of the weekend, we highly recommend visiting Yosemite National Park. It’s one of the most beautiful places in California, with incredible mountain views, waterfalls, and hiking trails. It’s definitely worth the trip if you have the time!
Heirloom
Every single time we are in town, we make sure to stop at Heirloom. Everything on their menu is amazing! If you notice the line going out the door, just know that this is normal. It moves super fast. Also, make sure to top everything off with their signature frozen greek yogurt! It's our favorite.
Clovis Farmers Market
The Old Town Clovis Friday Night Farmers Market runs weekly from May 1 to September 25, 2026, 5:30–8:30 PM, located on Pollasky Avenue between 3rd and 7th Streets. It features local produce, food vendors, crafts, and live music.
Shaver Lake
Just 45 minutes from Fresno, Shaver Lake is worth the visit. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a few hours of fresh mountain air and relax. Rent a paddle board, sit on the shore, go for a swim, or hike to Rancheria Falls. Don't forget to stop by Hungry Hut! They have the best milkshakes.
Kuppa Joy Coffee House
Kuppa Joy Coffee House is a faith-based, locally-owned specialty coffee company in Central California, founded by former NFL player Zack Follett to spread the Gospel and serve high-quality coffee. Known for a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it offers signature drinks like the "Hallelujah" and "Kuppa Joy," along with fresh pastries. It is the best coffee in town.
Wild Water Adventure Park
For those that are traveling, make sure to prepare for the heat! Wild Water Adventure Park is a great place to cool off and have fun. The park features over 38 water slides, a 1-million-gallon wave pool, and areas for guests of all ages to enjoy!
